A Seminar titled “Next Gen Tech Wave” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 28.10.2023 at 11.00 am in Seminar Hall -I. The Resource Person for the event was Mr. Patric Phinehas Raj, Senior Software Engineer, Bosch Global Software Technologies, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Dr.M.Kalpana Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The participants were nearly 58 students from CSE department in SRIT and 10 students from SREC and Karpagam College of Engineering joined this event.  The event started by addressing the welcome note by Ms. Thenmozhi from First year CSE. Later, the chief guest introduction was delivered by Ms.Vaishnavi/ I CSE.

 The session was handed over to the resource person and he started his session by sharing the current trend that are essential for the company. He stimulated and inspired the students to gain knowledge in the next gen Technologies. He presented few links to acquire training with the coding. It was more interesting and essential for today’s world. The queries were elevated by the students and he responded clearly with good examples. Finally, Dr.M.Kalpana Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering continued her speech on current trends. She presented the topics on new technologies like machine learning, deep learning and mentioned the courses that are strong for the placement.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.M.Kalpana Devi, expressing her gratitude to the resource persons and the students who participated and made this event a great success. It was useful and essential for the growth of the students. The feedback link was disseminated to the students and were made to complete. The event came to an end by having a photo session.
