The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with Mechatron Motors (a student’s start-up of SRIT) organized, A National Level Electric Bike Design Challenge (EBDC’23) Season 3.0 contest for Engineering students on 30th and 31st, October, 2023 at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. The event hosted a range of report submissions of designs, innovations, business plans and cost presentations, with some very enthusiastic displays of electric bike design presentations through static mode. A total of 10 teams participated in this event from various colleges. Among them, Team Sapphire from Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, Chennai won the overall Championship award with a cash prize of Rs.5,000/-. We would like to extend our gratitude to all the Management, Principal, Head of the Department, Judge Panel members, Event Coordinators, Staff Members and Participants for the grand success of National Level Electric Bike Design Challenge (EBDC’23) Season 3.0 contest
