SRIT CISCO Networking Academy (ID - 3075627) was established in 22 April 2010 as an outcome of an agreement made by Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology and M/S CISCO Networking Academy. The aim of the Academy is to impart technical skills to the students in the area of Computer Networking, at affordable fees and easy conveyance to hostel students, to enhance their employability. The SRIT CISCO Academy is entitled to follow curriculum of CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Discovery, CCNA Exploration and CCNA R&S. This curriculum teaches networking based on technology, covering protocols and theory at deeper level reflective of university practices. Students learn the basics of routing, switching, and advanced technologies to prepare for CCENT, CCNA certification and entry-level networking careers.

The Students from the departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics and communication Engineering are joining the courses conducted after the regular college hours to enhance their job prospects.

Since the SRIT CISCO Networking Academy train the students in the most recent technologies available in the field of networking. The enrollment process is in the final stage for the courses offered for the current academic year.
