The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology organised a Workshop titled ‘SimSmith Tool for RF Circuit Analysis’ on 31.10.2023 in the DSP Laboratory of the institution. The resource person for this programme was Mr.V.Ganesh, Assistant Professor (Sr.Gr.), Department of ECE, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He had started the session with the importance of Smith Chart. He trained the students with the SimSmith tool and Smith chart. The workshop covered two elements and three elements impedance matching, stub matching and quarter wave line, modeling of dipole antenna. Forty students of Electronics and Communication Engineering participated in this training and got benefitted.
