The Electric Bike Team “Mechatrons” of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology has won the Overall 2nd Runner-up Award at the Luminous SIEP E-Bike Challenge 2024, Season 4.0 took place from January 24th to 28th, organized by the Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIEINDIA) and hosted by IES University. 38 teams from 16 states across the country participated and threw their hats into the competition for the Luminous SIEP E-Bike Challenge 2024. Across the five days of competition, a jury comprising experts from the motorsport, automotive and supplier industries thoroughly evaluated all the teams and their vehicles. Participants were judged on engineering design, overall cost, marketability and dynamic performance. On-track assessments at the IES University tested the real-world performance and durability of the prototypes. These dynamics tests included the Acceleration Test, Hill Climb Test, Off Road Test, Self Balancing Test, Vehicle Run on Modes Test, Driverless Parking Test, and more importantly Durability Test. A total of 20 teams qualified for the technical inspection and participated in the dynamic rounds achieving groundbreaking engineering achievements in the Luminous SIEP E Bike Challenge 2024.Our Team’s achievements at Luminous SIEP E-Bike Challenge 2024, Season 4.01.
