A Seminar on “Latest Biomedical Instruments” was organized by the department of ECE. The Chief Guest for the Seminar was Dr.R.M.Prasanna, Consultant Microbiologist, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore. About 137 students of ECE were benefited by this seminar. Awareness of various advancements in the field of biomedical was created among the students. Dr. R. M.Prasanna had explained about various biomedical instruments such as Electrocardiography, MRI, Computed tomography, PCR machine, Defibrillator, X-Rays, Ventilator, infrared scanning for veins, etc., He also created awareness about the usage of various antibiotics and the importance of Biomedical Engineering
