A one day webinar on “Future trends in Autonomous vehicles” is organised by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering for second-year (EEE) and first-year (CSE) students on 28.01.2023. Dr.Anbalagan Thangavel, Technical Project Manager, Robert Bosch GmbH, Coimbatore was a resource person for this event. 75 students from second-year (EEE) and first year(CSE) students were attended the webinar. He shared his knowledge on designing the autonomous vehicle is the on-demand availability of the transport sector and also eliminate tailpipe emissions, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, improve community health, safeguard energy security, and improve prospects for employment and skilling. . The future of autonomous vehicles promises overall safer roads; alleviated traffic congestion; and cleaner, more efficient operation. Students gained knowledge about challenges and opportunities pertaining to transportation policies that may arise as a result of emerging autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies.
