A National level Technical Symposium, “Cornucopia’ 23” was organized and conducted by the students association ASCONIC of the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore on 07.02.2023. Ms. Sivakami Kaliapillai, Delivery Manager, O9 Solutions Private Limited, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest for the event. The function began with the Tamil Thaivazhthu. Dr. S. Anila, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering delivered the welcome address. Ms.Mirdulaa.A, Secretary of ASCONIC gave an insight about Cornucopia to the gathering. Dr. S. Mary Praveena, Faculty Coordinator-ASCONIC, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering introduced the chief guest to the gathering. The Chief Guest in her inaugural speech addressed the recent trends in the IT field, Industry 4.0 and the advancement of technology and the future scope of their applications. Also, she briefed me about the working atmosphere in the IT field. A magazine entitled “CORNUCOPIA 2K23” was released by the dignitaries. Ms. Abirami. S, Final Year ECE, delivered the Vote of Thanks. Various Competitions such as Paper Presentations, Technical quizzes, Project expos, Circuit Debugging, Short Film contests and Connections were organised as a part of the symposium. Around, 200 participants from various Institutions in and around Coimbatore registered and participated in the symposium. Cash prizes were awarded to the winners of various events and Certificates were issued to all the participants of the symposium. This National Level Technical Symposium has paved the way for all the participants to express their talents in various domains.
