Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology conducted the Twentieth Induction Programme for First Year B.E/B.Tech. students virtually. Professor M. Ramachandran, Pattimandram Speaker and Moderator, Professor of English (Retd.), Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, was the Chief Guest of this programme.

In his keynote address, “he congratulated all the students for choosing a professional course, because students can implement their innovations. He also insisted that students should learn how to overcome obstacles in today’s modern world. He mentioned that the thoughts of an individual will not fulfil the dreams; unless it is determined. We must think of the good. We have to work hard to implement it. College will only guide us to reach the milestone; the students must be aware to reach the destination. He concluded by saying that “I can” is more important than “IQ”.

Thiru. D. Lakshminarayanaswamy, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Coimbatore, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he encouraged the students to use the facilities on campus optimally. He also said that students should take responsibility for their learning in an incredibly enhancing manner.

Prior to the ceremony, the Principal of the College, Dr. M. Paulraj, welcomed the gathering.

Dr. K. Murali, Head of the Department, Department of Civil Engineering, SRIT proposed the vote of thanks.
