The TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Internet of Things Laboratory sponsored by Texas instruments was inaugurated in the Department of Electrical Electronics Engineering by Mr. V. S. Ramesh, Director, Steps Knowledge Services Pvt. Ltd, Coimbatore at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology. The Principal, Dr. M. Paulraj presided over the function along with the Dean (Research) Dr. N. Devarajan amidst the faculty members and the students. A Poster Presentation event on Internet of Things was conducted for the students and winners were chosen based on their creative ideas and Presentation. The IoT Lab Incharge Mr. A.P.Roger Rozario explained the importance of IoT in the current scenario and introduced the various components in the newly established lab like TI-Robotic Systems Learning Kit (TIRSLK),CC3200 to name a few.

This TI – IoT Lab will be used to conduct certificate courses and Value added programs for the students of SRIT and other engineering Colleges.
