A seminar titled “Emerging Opportunities in Embedded Systems” was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology on 14.09.2023, Friday, from 09:30 am to 03:00 pm. Dr. L. Malathi, AP (Sr. Gr.)/ECE was the Faculty Coordinator. The resource person for Session-01 is Mr R. Santhosh Kumar, General Manager, and for Session-02 is Mr. S. Santhosh Kumar, Sr. Embedded Engineer from CADD CENTRE and LIVE Wire and Session-03 is Dr. L. Malathi, Assistant Professor/ECE. Dr. S. Anila, Professor and head, welcomed the gathering. Resource persons have explored their industrial experience. Students understood the recent and real-time applications using embedded systems. They got exposure to the industry knowledge about advanced technologies which is available with the advancement of embedded challenges. Also, students came to know the career opportunities and challenges in the field of embedded systems. They understood how embedded technology is a part of the job and higher studies-oriented competitive exams. This seminar helped the students to bring up innovative ideas. The demo session is conducted by resource persons to provide an idea about embedded systems. This session helped the students to create their innovative ideas, motivated them to participate in technical contests, and supported them to sign up for a good career. Mr. S.
