The inauguration of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department “Electricus” was conducted on 06.09.2022. The guest was Dr. S. Tamilarasu(Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solution Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore. Dr.S.Sangeetha, Associate Professor, welcomed the gathering and offered a succinct overview of the association.

Following the welcome speech, Dr.R.M.S. Parvathy, Professor, and Head of the Department of Computer Science Engineering gave a felicitation speech. She emphasized the value of association in fostering the event’s association activities. She also urged the association secretary to organize additional events throughout this school year. She also discussed the purpose of electrical engineering and its opportunities. The introduction of the Chief guest was given by Dr.G.Kannayeram, Associate Professor and Association In-Charge of Electrics.

The Chief Guest had an interactive session with the students. He conducted a “One Minute Story” activity. Many students actively explained their views on a particular image. Following this activity, he gave an elaborative presentation on topics such as Smart And Autonomous Vehicles, and Industry 5.0. He also emphasized the qualities an engineer should possess and what an organization expects from an Employee.

Followed by it awards were given to the school and college students who won the various competitions conducted on Teachers Day and National Sports day by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. As a token of love, a memento was presented to the chief guest. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by the Secretary of the association Mr.Solai Karthick
