An awareness program on “Competitive Examinations” was organized by the department of ECE for the Final year and Third year students. Members from  Impulse  Coaching Institute, Coimbatore handled various sessions and created awareness on Competitive Examinations among the student community. Description about UPSC and TNPSC was given by Ms.P. Gayathri Devi, Director,Impulse Coaching Institute and  Mr.M.Vijay (Alumni of SRIT), Director, Impulse Coaching Institute and they have described different ways to be followed to crack UPSC or TNPSC exams. They also introduced the patterns & current trends, and various exams conducted by the government sector organizations. Another session on “Personality Development” was handled by Mr. S.Vignesh, Managing Director, Impulse coaching Institute. In the interactive session by Mr.S. Vignesh, MD, a clear picture about the various job  opportunities and Vacancies in the Government Sector was offered to the students.
