The formal instigation of our department “DoIT” Association was organized at our campus. The event was coordinated by Dr. T. C. EzhilSelvan, Associate Professor and Advisor for the Association.

Mr. SivaramMuthuswami, Co-founder and CEO of Breezeware, an enterprise software company based in Atlanta, GA, USA, and Coimbatore, India was the chief guest. He was accompanied by our alumni who are now employees of the company. There was a colorful welcome followed by Tamil Thai Vaazhthu and the lighting of the KuthuVizhakku.

Ms. S. Poojasri, the secretary of the association welcomed the gathering. Dr. R. Nagendran, Associate Professor welcomed the Principal and Dr. J. J. Adri Jovin, Associate Professor welcomed the Chief Guest with a bouquet. The Principal, Dr. M. Paulraj delivered the presidential address which was followed by the introduction of the chief guest by Mr. S. Poonkawin, the Joint Secretary of the association.

The chief guest, Mr. Sivaram gave a glimpse of the post-COVID era and the opportunities that are available for IT Engineers. His speech also covered the need for building a value-based organization and work culture. He also guided the students with his inspirational words to do better.

Dr. M. Suresh Kumar, Professor, and Head, the Department of Information Technology, introduced the newly elected Office Bearers for the academic year 2021 – 2022. Mr. J. Abinesh, Treasurer of the Association, delivered the vote of thanks.

All students belonging to the Department of Information Technology participated in this event. The event came to an end with the National Anthem.
