Electrical and Electronics Department Association “ELECTRICUS” was inaugurated for the academic Year 2021-22.

The function started with a prayer song and the welcome address was given by the Association In-charge, Ms.D.Poornima. She welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering. She gave a brief introduction to the association. And she motivated the students to actively participate in various association activities.

The welcome address was followed by felicitation by Dr.C.R.Hema, HoD/EEE. She stressed the importance of association in nurturing the co-curricular talents of the students. She also encouraged the secretary and was in charge to conduct more events during this academic year Dr.S.Sangeetha, AssociateProfessor, EEE, introduced the chief guest Ms.Er.T.GhayathriAssistant Engineer / Operation &Maintenance TANGEDCO / TNEB.

The inaugural address was given by the chief guest She shared the importance of career goals and her experience achieving them. She gave guidance to aspiring  Govt jobs by preparing for competitive exams like GATE, TNPSC, Etc. She also emphasized how discipline plays a vital role in acquiring a good career. The conversion of Indian grid to  Smart Grid  was presented by her in an elaborative manner.Dr.C.R.Hema  present a memento to the chief guest as a token of respect and love

The secretary, joint secretary, treasurer, and office-bearers of the association were introduced by Mrs.D.Poornima Association In-charge followed by a photo session. Mr.R.Vijay Radha Surya Secretary delivered the vote of thanks. He heartily thanked all the dignitaries, faculty members, and students who have contributed to making this event a grand success.

The inaugural function ended with National Anthem.
