The inauguration of “ASCONIC”, Association of Electronics and Communication Engineers was held on 09.09.2022. The Programme started with Lighting Ceremony and Ms. R. Janani, ASCONIC Secretary, Final year B.E., ECE welcomed the gathering. Dr.S.Anila, Professor and Head, Department of ECE introduced the Chief Guest. The resource person Mr. Sakthivel Thirumoorthy, Vice president- SAP Technology, ERP Roots, Coimbatore delivered the inaugural address. He explained the concept of Systems, Applications, and Products in data processing (SAP) and its importance in today’s Digital Era. SAP is one of the world’s leading producers of software for the management of business processes, developing solutions that facilitate effective data processing and information flow across organizations. SAP is the most-used ERP software in the market and contains hundreds of fully integrated modules covering nearly every aspect of business management. Usage of SAP creates a centralized system for businesses that enables every department to access and share data to create a better work environment for every employee. He also explained his career path and shared the salient features of ERP Roots, Coimbatore. Following his speech, Dr. S. Mary Praveena Associate Professor, Department of ECE proceeded with the installation of Office Bearers. Dr.S.Anila, HOD/ECE, presented the memento to the resource person as a token of respect. Mr. A. Sasikumar,  ASCONIC Treasurer, Final year B.E., ECE delivered the Vote of Thanks. Two hundred students and all the faculty members of ECE department participated in ASCONIC Inauguration function
