The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with Mechatron Motors (a student’s start-up of SRIT) organized A National Level Electric Bike Design Challenge (EBDC’22) Season 2 contest for Engineering and Diploma students from all over India from 26^th – 29^th September 2022 at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. The event hosted a range of report submissions of designs, innovations, business plans, workshops, and endurance races, with some very enthusiastic displays of electric bike design presentations through dynamic mode. A total of 12 teams participated in this event from various colleges across India. Among them, Team Fuerza from Thiagarajar Polytechnic College, Salem won the overall Championship award with a cash prize of Rs.50,000/-.
