The national-level workshop on “MATLAB for Engineers” was conducted by the Intelligent Signal Processing Cluster on 29th November 2023. The Programme started by 9.15 am with the prayer song followed by a welcome address by Dr. A. P. Roger Rozario, Assistant Professor Senior Grade, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Mr. E Ramkumar, Assistant Professor Senior Grade, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering introduced the resource person. The forenoon session covered the introduction to MATLAB, its overview, various windows of MATLAB and how it can be created, saved etc., Also, all the basic commands used by engineering students were discussed along with hands-on. They were also exposed to basic MALAB programming for arrays, matrix operations. The graphical representations available in MATLAB were also taught with application. 36 External Participants and 24 Internal Participants attended the Workshop. The external participants were from Erode sengunthar Engineering College, Velalar College of Engineering and Technology, Chettinad college of Engineering and Technology, V.S.B College of Engineering Technical Campus, SNS College of Technology, Dr. NGP Institute of Technology. The participants actively attended both the sessions and they enjoyed working with MATLAB. The workshop ended with the Vote of thanks by Ms. J. Glory Priyadharshini, AP/EEE followed by group photo and certificate distribution.
