The Department of Science & Humanities (Mathematics) hosted a seminar on the “NPTEL Awareness Programme” with great success.  Approximately 300 students participated in the workshop. We express our gratitude to the Principal and the Management for providing the opportunity.The session was presided over by Dr. S. Nagarani, HOD of the Department of Science and Humanities (Mathematics), and Dr. S. Parvatham, Assistant Professor, welcomed everyone and introduced the resource person. Mr. B. Varun, the resource person, emphasised the importance of online learning platforms like NPTEL in delivering top-notch education to students across the nation. He emphasised the value of lifelong learning and the ways in which NPTEL courses may improve students’ technical knowledge and skills. Presentations, interactive discussions, and demonstrations took place during the workshop. Additionally, real-world success stories of people who had benefited from NPTEL courses were highlighted, encouraging the participants to investigate the variety of courses offered and their possible job options.
