The Association of Mechanical Engineers (AZPOMERZ) was inaugurated on 10th October, 2023 for the academic year of 2023-2024 by chief guest Mr. D. Yoekesh, Manager, Production, Flow Link Systems Ltd, Coimbatore. The inauguration started with the prayer song.                 Mr.V.K.Sakthi Prashanth, Secretary, delivered the cordial welcome address. Dr.B.Chokkalingam, Professor & Head, department of Mechanical Engineering delivered the presidential address, The introduction of the chief guest was given by Mr.G.Akshath Rao Joint Secretary department of Mechanical Engineering. The chief guest delivered a technical talk on the topic of Foundry. He described and explained the importance of foundries in Mechanical Engineering. He also pointed various challenges and experiences related to this topic and the students were highly benefited by his lecture. After finishing his lecture, students asked many questions and ended with an interactive session. Faculty advisor Dr.S.Benjamin Franklin,Associate Professor Gr1 introduced the student office bearers of Azpomerz 2023-2024.  Mr.K.N.Raghul Krishna, Treasurer delivered the vote of thanks. He thanked the chief guest for gracing the occasion by his solemn presence and to all the students of the mechanical department who were the main ingredients of this function. The program ends with the national anthem.
