Department of Information Technology, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore organized a One day Workshop on “IoT and its Applications” on 12th September 2018. The event started by 10.00 AM and Dr.M.Suresh Kumar, Professor and Head, Department of Information Technology welcomed and introduced the resource person Mr.V.Srikumar, Team Leader (PHP Developer), Avanexa Technology, Coimbatore. Mr.V.Srikumar and his team gave a glimpse on the application of Internet of Things (IoT) in various domains. He also gave the hands-on training on how to work with IoT kit (CC3200). Nearly 70 Students participated in the event to get enlightened with latest technology used in several applications. The workshop organized under the guidance of the Dr.M.Paulraj, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology. The Programme committee members:
