Youth Red Cross Unit of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology conducted a free Dental Screening Camp in collaboration with Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital, Coimbatore on 09.11.2022 in the college premises. A team of dentists, led by Dr.D.Mohamed Kalifa, Lecturer, Department of Public Health Dentistry carried out dental check-ups for the parents of first-year students of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology.  The camp included dental check-ups, awareness talks, and general information on tooth decay, various gum diseases, dental ailments, and brushing methods. The parents had a chance to interact with the dentists to enquire and gain knowledge about their oral health. Fifty-eight parents were screened and got benefitted. The parents and students thanked the dentists and Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital for rendering such a wonderful service.
