The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Society of Automotive Engineers jointly
organized a Workshop on Raspberry Pi for Wheeled Mobile Robots on 22 nd February, 2025.
The chief guest of the workshop was Dr. A.P. Rozer Rozario, Assistant Professor (Selection
Grade), Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of
Technology, Coimbatore. The function started with the prayer song followed by welcome
address which was provided by Mr.R.Sriram – SAE Secretary. The chief guest provided a
detailed technical talk on Raspberry Pi for Wheeled Mobile Robots would be a great
opportunity to explore how this affordable and versatile platform can be used for building and
controlling wheeled robots. Dr. S. Benjamin Franklin, Associate Professor, Department of
Mechanical Engineering delivered the vote of thanks. A total of 101 students participated in
the workshop. The program ended with the national anthem
