The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology had celebrated International Women’s Day . In connection to the celebrations, various events were conducted for the girl students and women faculty. The Chief Guest for the day was Ms.K.P.Abitha Velmurugan from PRIST Deemed University, Bengaluru. A virtual webinar was organized where Ms. Abitha Velmurugan delivered a talk that enlightened the spirit of womanhood. The day witnessed great energy and emancipation among the peers. The Head of the Institution, Dr.M.Paulraj, and Department Heads graced the ceremony held in the campus and presented gold and silver medals for the winning participants.
