Students of SRIT organized Teacher’s day celebration on 05-09-2023 they invited and honoured our eminent SRIT senior professors on this occasion. The invited chief guests were Prof.K.T.Vardarajan from department of IT, Dr.R.Jayabal from department of EEE and Prof.K.Venkatasubramanian from department of ECE. Dr.M.paulraj the principal preside over the function.

The function began with the auspicious prayer song. R.Madhumitha from ECE department delivered the Welcome Speech. L.Karan from IT department gave a bouquet to chief guest Prof.K.T.Vardarajan. R.P.Sarvesh from CSE department gave a bouquet to chief guest Dr.R.Jayabal and R. Yuvan karthick from ECE department gave a bouquet to chief guest Prof.K.Venkatasubramanian. D.R.C.R Hema gave a bouquet to our Principal. As a token of love our principal gave a memento to the invited chief guests. The principal Dr.M.Paulraj had given the presidential address. Teacher’s day special speech was given by six students.

B. Kalaiselvi from CSE Second year, J. Danush Karthick from Third year and R. Yuvan Karthick from ECE Final year delivered Tamil speech. Hussain Mustafa from CSE First year, M. Harsha Lakshmi from CSE First year and R. Ilakkiya– IT Final year delivered English speech. L. Karan from IT Final year gave a brief note on our chief guest Prof.K.T.Vardarajan and invited him for a guest speech. He shared his memories and immense knowledge. S.Dhanalakshmi from EEE third Year gave an introduction on our chief guest Dr.R.Jayabal. Dr.R.Jayabal sir delivered a speech on importance of education and remarkable role pf teachers. S.V. Srivarshini from ECE Final year gave a short note on our chief guest Prof.K.T.Vardarajan. R.S. Danush Prabhakaran from Mechanical department Final year delivered the vote of thanks.

The students (with Science Club) gave a teacher’s day wishing card and chocolates to all the faculty members. They also arrange lunch for all the faculty members. The event ended successfully and happily.
