Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology had successfully organized the SRIT – HACKATHON on 13.02.2023 from 10:00 am to 05.00 pm. This event was an initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of
the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. The first edition SRIT-RISE proved to be extremely successful in promoting
innovation out-of-the-box thinking in young minds, especially engineering students from across the city. The Principal, Dr. M.Paulraj inaugurated the event and Dr.C.R.Hema, Professor & Head, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Organizing Chair of SRIT-HACKATHON welcomed the gathering and shared a brief report on the event. A total of 218 innovative projects were registered and 280 students from various
Institutions participated in the event. Students had an opportunity to learn through and feel a sense of belongingness as they made the models with their own hands.
