The seminar on Recent Trends in Artificial Intelligence was organized by the Circuit Debugging Club and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering for second year and final-year students on 05.10.2023 (Thursday) between 02:00 pm to 03:30 pm. Mr. S. Abhishek Udiit S P, Director, Learn O Academy, Coimbatore, was the resource person for this event. Ms. J. Glory Priyadharshini, Assistant Professor/EEE, welcomed the gathering, and Mr. S. Ramesh, IV EEE, President of Circuit Debugging Club, delivered the chief guest introduction. 38 students from II-year EEE and IV-year EEE attended the event. He started the lecture with the basics of artificial intelligence, its evolution, and current trends. The students actively answered the questions asked by the resource person. The resource person highlighted the significance of AI, ML and Data science. Also, he emphasized how these technologies can be learned using open-source tools. He also emphasized on the areas that a student has to concentrate to get a job in AI era. The resource person clarified the doubts of the students at the end of his presentation and counseled them to have their own start up idea to be successful. He also gave them a list of AI tools that would help them in their preparation for placements. This seminar helped the students to acquire knowledge about the AI tools with respect to their academic growth and professional growth. Ms. S. Snathanasivashree, IV EEE delivered the vote of Thanks.
