A One day hands-on workshop titled “Circuit Simulation Using Tina” was organized by ECE department on 23.1.2023 in DSP Laboratory. The resource person for this workshop is Dr.Sivaramakrishnan, Associate Professor, Department of Information science and Engineering, New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore. Dr.S.Anila, Professor & Head, ECE Department welcomed the resource person and Dr.S.Mary Praveena, Associate Professor, ECE Department Introduced the Chief Guest to the Audience. Hands-on workshop training on powerful circuit simulators for analog, digital, MCU and mixed circuit simulation with integrated PCB design was taught to the students. He also briefed TINA Design Suite is a professional, powerful and affordable circuit simulator. It is a circuit designer and PCB design software package for analyzing, designing, and real-time testing of analogue, digital, IBIS, VHDL, Verilog, Verilog AMS, System C, MCU, and mixed electronic circuits and their PCB layouts. Fifty students of second-year ECE department and staff members also participated in this workshop. Mr.R.Ramakrishnan Assistant Professor, Department of ECE delivered the vote of Thanks. This programme was very useful for the students and this workshop enriched the students to do their projects in analyzing & design of analog, digital, VHDL, Verilog, Verilog A & AMS, MCU, and mixed electronic circuits.
