The Inaugural Function of “Civil Engineering Association” for the academic year 2019-2020 was held in a well-organised manner. The chief guest of the inauguration function is Dr.K. Sivakumar, DGM(Civil), BSCC Formwork, L&T construction- building and factories, Chennai. Our Head of the department Dr.R.N.UMA received the chief guest. Being a living inspiration he guided the youngster through the path of enlightenment. He has come up with a wonderful presentation about “THE STATUE OF UNITY” which would help the future civil engineers. He has pointed out the scope of civil engineering and he talks about the current information in the civil field
