A three-day Faculty Development Program on “Competency-focused Outcome-based Education (To align with NEP 2020)” was organised from August 12 to August 14, 2024, by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology. Prof. Joshua Earnest, Former Professor and Head, the Department of Electrical Engineering, Former Dean – Planning and Monitoring, NITTTR, Bhopal was the resource person for the event. The FDP was inaugurated by Dr. N.R. Alamelu, Director (Academics) and Dr. J. David Rathnaraj, Principal, SRIT. 60 participants from various institutions, including arts and science colleges, engineering colleges and polytechnic colleges participated in the FDP. Prof. Joshua provided insights into the impact of NEP 2020 on curriculum development and guided the participants in framing the program structure and course structure. The participants exhibited their own course structure and program structure based on the guidelines provided by the resource person on the third day of the event.
