The NSS Unit has conducted a First Aid and Emergency Awareness on 10.09.2018 (Monday) at 02.30 pm. Mr D. Narasimhan, Fire Safety Officer, SNR Sons Charitable Trust was the Resource Person for the programme. A power point presentation was given on different ways of first-aid to the victims of accidents, electric shocks, drowned and fire mishap victims. He said many lives could be saved if first-aid is administered on time.

A demonstration was held in association with Fire Tech Enterprises, Coimbatore where the fire service personnel explained the procedure of handling Fire Extinguishers in case of emergency. The first year B.E/B. Tech. students actively participated in the programme and got clarifications about their doubts.
